How does the film challenge or reinforce stereotypes? This clip challenges stereotypes as it includes someone from another race other than white What is emphasised by the representation? His accent as he is from India so they imitate him. They also talk about how all Indians love curry which is reinforcing stereotypes as they are using this character to represent the whole of India. What does the representation fail to show us? That there are more than two races across the world and that all Indians dont have to love curry just because of where they are from. Is a particular group being under-represented or omitted entirely? why? Yes the Indian character is being under represented as they are making fun of his accent and not talking to him as if he was another white guy. creating an interview

When creating an interview you need to make sure the person you are interviewing is comfortable by using eye contact and keeping your note reading to a minimum. Also making sure the person you are interviewing doesn't look straight into the camera as they are not dressing the audience they are talking to you. Another rule you need to stick by is the 180 degree rule as you don't want to confuse your audience by placing the camera in a completely opposite direction. This will look as if everything is the wrong way round when it comes to editing. Be sure to not talk over the person you are interviewing as the audio an become broken and you could end up getting a much better answer if you let them finish speaking. Lapel mic is a microphone you clip straight onto a person. You need to make sure that there is a gap above the person you are interviewing's head as you want to know they have got nothing on their head. Visual codes: The location of the set is in Media City UK in Salford Quays near Manchester. The colour palette of the show is all bright blue and white which represents sad yet peaceful the purpose of this is to help when the guests are kicking off. Surprisingly the tone is not angry as there are no red colours on the studio. The effect of it not being an angry colour can help calm the audience and guests. The hair and makeup is done by the guests as most of them are quite bad and don't look professional. The purpose of this is to accentuate the lower class people that are usually on the show. The effect of this is that the audience look down on the problems of the guests and feel inferior. although this is not a good purpose or effect it clearly works as the show is know well nation-wide. The clothes are also picked by the guests themselves however the presenter Jeremy remains professional in a suit every time. The purpose of this is to show that Jeremy is inferior to the gue
