After finding out what other social medias people use for different things I worked out which ones would be best to use to promote my film on. I think that Instagram and Snapchat would be the best social media platforms to use to promote my film as most people voted that they use those the most. So these platforms will be the best to use to promote my film. The film audience uses social media to view films as they can watch trailers and interact with the actors or other viewers. They snapchat their friends about the film and comment on Instagram posts about the film. This creates fan groups and can help you get your audience obsessed with your film. Im not sure how a website could get viewers as i don't think people always search for movie websites however having social media and promoting your page on people's feed will get viewers and then you can link the website in the bio of the social media. Companies use social media to promote their brand as it can help get them a wider range of audience and also help them interact with their audience. They can build a fanbase before they have released their product.
